Oh, yeah, they cancel school in a heartbeat for the least bit of wintry precipitation. I think it's mainly because people down here really don't know how to drive in that kind of weather, but it's silly how dramatic the news and weather people are about what little "wintry" weather we do get! They would probably declare a state of emergency if we got more than 6 inches, it actually paralyzed the airports about 5 years ago when we did. Happy belated Valentine's Day, Daliege family!
